Trouble

I'm in REALLY BIG TROUBLE now. Today is January 17, 2010 and this post below is the last one I've posted, and I posted it on December 21, 2009 and the pictures are from November 27, 2009. Yikes! I was overwhelmed before with holiday stuff and work. Work hasn't let up, but now the number of pictures to go through is a big overwhelming. We'll see how far I get.... Bailey's sleeping now, but when we wakes up and sees me on here, I'm sure he'll ask for a "puter game."

Here's what I wrote on December, 21, 2009:

Well, I'm in trouble because I haven't posted in a while. Today is December 21st and I should be doing other things now, but here's a picture from November 27th from when my Mom and Dad were in town. I really love this picture. We rode the minature train and went to the Botanical Gardens, but I'll have to post more later.

I'm behind in everything! I haven't even sent a single Christmas card out yet. I'm not sure if I'll get to it. This time of the year is crazy for a person who deals with company finances. Yuck!!! I have a few ideas for Bailey's birthday party, but I need to call tomorrow to see if it's possible to have a party in a week or a week and half. I can't believe may little baby is going to be three!!! He is doing 60 piece puzzles by himself. I love watching the little gears in his head churn. He is so smart!

Below are the pictures posted on January 17, 2010. My Mom and Dad and Bailey went on a miniature train ride. Bailey loved it. This is his train face.

Zoo

Bailey and I headed to the zoo today. We were going to go on Wednesday, but with all of the kids out of school that day, I figured there wouldn't be a huge crowd today with this cold dreary weather. I was right! We didn't quite have the zoo to ourselves, but there sure wasn't a big crowd.

We actualy went back to the tigers before heading out since Bailey liked them to much. This time some boys next to Bailey would laugh every time the tiger would walk by, so Bailey started a laughing hysterically too!


The other highlight of the day: The TRAIN!!! This is Bailey's face as the train started moving.

Daddy's Toys - Laser Tag

This morning Bailey asked for "Daddy's toys." It was probably 6 months ago when we last had them out, but he sure remembered them and was ready to play! Travis got them out and they had a great time. This is what I came home to! Old school laser tag! Yes, I have since put it on myself.... No pictures please!

Family Time

Grandma Dawn (aka Dawndi) and Great-grandma Eula came over today. We met Aunt Mindy, Uncle Chuck, Lillie and Payton at Kincaid's. It was great to see everyone!

We had a photo session thanks to Grandma Eula. I needed a family picture for the company Christmas video!

Yard Project Update

Note the sprinklers spraying. YEAH!

My groundcover is coming along. I need to buy a few more plants to fill in on this side. When the sprinklers are up and running, I'll plant the other 700 SF. No more hand watering for me!

Travis had 4 more connections to do, which would have taken about 10 minutes. We had a major downpour for about 30 minutes, then Travis went back out and finished in the mud. Yuck.

Crawdaddies... in the drainage ditch!

All we have to do is cross the street to find hundreds of crawdaddies... a little boys dream or a Daddy's dream? Hmmmm. Not sure. Travis was into catching the crawdaddies way more than Bailey.

Headlights

We learned from our camping trip that head lamps would make working in the dark a lot easier, so we got head lamps for the next trip. They almost are good for working in the yard or looking for crawdaddies after the sun goes down....
