Tired Boy

With ice and snow in the forecast, I ran some errands after work today and didn't get home until really late. I came home to a little boy sleeping in his recliner.

Cleaning

Bailey's room was an absolute mess. In order for me to get him to pick up the wood blocks, I set up Mickey to "help". Mickey held the bag open. Bailey actually did get his room cleaned up today, with a little help from Mommy.

Bailey then helped sweep off the front porch, then used his new power washer to spray it off (Thanks Avery and Andrew!). Next he helped me clean the litter box (final spray off) and then sprayed off the back porch.

He also got shop radio from his cousins. He listened to it much of today. He seems to like a variety of music. He listened to Tejano for a while, then listened to Jack FM (mixture of pop, oldies, etc.) and then Gospel music.

Birthday Celebration

I thought this was going to be Natalee's birthday celebration, but Bailey ended up with a stack of presents. We had a great time with family. Bailey was so happy to see his cousins.

Big Scoop

Aunt Lindsey recently got Bailey the tractor that goes with the big dump truck that she got him last year. He loves digging in the dirt!

Fort Worth Stock Show

We headed to the Fort Worth Stock Show today, which included admission to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. We first headed to the swine barn and B got to pet a pig!

Bailey got to see some baby chickens coming out of eggs.

He really liked the baby chickens and baby ducks.
We saw a commercial dairy milking demonstration. I was a little grossed out by what the cows eat. Aren't cows supposed to eat grass? The man talked about how organic milk is "ultra-pasteurized", so that is why is lasts so long. When I mentioned that not all organic milk is pasteurized, the guy almost fell off his chair. "Um, I'm not allowed to talk about that."
This rooster really liked Bailey.

We saw some sheep, cows and tractors, then headed over to the museum. It was totally opposite from our last experience at the museum (free Museum Day when it was absolutely packed). Sometimes Bailey was the only child around!

He loves the grocery store area.

Here we are waiting for the 4-D theater experience. It was mostly a propaganda video (big bang theory, etc.), but all that aside, it was pretty neat. We had a dinosaur spit on us and we had dragonflies flying into our legs.

Then B headed to the Dinosaur Dig area.

Back to the train area where he was the ONLY child around.

Blurry, but neat regardless.

We headed to the carnival area where we got to ride in bumper cars and Bailey go to ride a train.

We had a fun day!

Covering up the Cat

I'm assuming Stinky was laying on the bed and B covered him up. Bailey loves Stinky!

Fort and Spatula

This is the first time Bailey has made this kind of fort. Notice all of the stuffed animals in the bottom. He has been really into stuffed animals lately (probably because I mentioned that I was going to box them up because he wasn't playing with them). He goes to bed holding about eight of them.
It was another bread day. Bailey loves to eat bread dough.

Cookies!

Jason and Lori gave us a jar of cookie mix for Christmas. Bailey got to make them almost all by himself. It was a VERY good thing that we weren't making these to share with others, as you can see in the video.

He made a circle out of bean bags and stuffed animals while the cookies were baking.

When life gives you lemons, make...

Stinky, Bread and Airplane

B holding Stinky.

Every week or two, I've been attempting making bread from scratch. This is the first time I made a whole wheat loaf that looked like a regular loaf of bread! I was happy that the whole process from grinding the wheat through baking was less than 2.5 hrs.
Bailey and I made an airplane today out of his gears. It was huge!

Crazy Outfit and More Pictures by Bailey

Guess who picked out this outfit? We never know what Bailey is going to put on. It typically involves a moose shirt, although that wasn't the case today. It's cold outside, so at least he was in the house all day.

Bailey took this picture.

He also took some videos of himself today. This was three that I put together.
