Jumping and Sorting Shapes

Today I laughed harder than I have laughed in a long time. At Bailey's Kindermusik class the kids were jumping during one song. Bailey can't get off the ground, but he was sure trying. He is does it twice at the beginning of this video. Imagine him doing to for about 30 seconds. Very funny!
Here's Bailey sorting shapes. He loves puzzles and shape sorters.

Tractors and a "Hi"

Sorry. This video is dark. Bailey is playing with his new miniature tractors and he got out his tractor book. When he realizes that I am there he says what sound like "Hi." If that it really what he was saying, this is a first. What do you think?

Eating or Playing?

Where is Bailey?
Peek-A-Boo!
Can you see Bailey?
There he is!
Being silly.

Stuffed Vegetable?

Bailey has had this toy for several months. I recently realized that it shouldn't be called a "stuffed animal." It's a stuffed vegetable!!!

Bailey thinks it is really funny when I call the toy "GMO Corn with the Googly Eyes" (said all long and drawn out). Only Monsanto GMO corn would have googly eyes! Here's Bailey hugging Corn while trying to go to sleep.

Fun with Buckles

I was off work on Monday and Tuesday. He probably did this 100 times over my 4 day weekend. For some reason he thinks this is really fun to do (over and over).

Eating Cereal All By Himself!

I finally decided to stop worrying about the mess and let Bailey feed himself his cereal.
Drinking the milk.
Sunday - Trying it again.

Stinky is So Soothing

Bailey just did not want to settle down and take a nap today. Finally I laid him on the floor with Stinky and he calmed down instantly. Perhaps it was the purring. Bailey laid on Stinky for 5 - 10 minutes, until Stinky had to get up because of the boy's heavy head.

Milk & Cookies and Another First

Bailey started his first Kindermusik class today. It's called "Milk and Cookies" and is a series of 15 forty-five minute classes for 18 month to 3 year olds and a parent or grandparent. Bailey loved being around other kiddos and he really loved the music. During one of the songs, all of the kids but Bailey were sitting in their parent's lap. Bailey was standing about 1 foot in front of the teacher watching her play the guitar.
To celebrate his first day of class, Bailey had his own version of milk and cookies.

Another first today that was more funny than anything. Bailey tooted REALLY LOUD, then laughed REALLY HARD. I kept a straight face until I heard him laugh. He's never done that before!

The Fort

Daddy makes the best forts and told Bailey the fort rules today:
Rule #1 - No "tooting" in the fort..
Rule #2 - No girls in the fort.
The boys in the fort.
Climbing out.

Airplane

Bailey loves airplanes and jets. When he hears one in the distance he points up. If he's inside he'll run to the window to try to get a glimpse of it. He makes a few different airplane noises. One sounds like a jet. I'm not sure about the noise in this video it sounds like the plane is having problems starting.

Cookie Monster

We watched Sesame Street ABC this weekend. Bailey loves the "C is for Cookie" song, so we made some cookies. On a side note, I had "B is for Bailey" sung to the tune of "C is for Cookie" stuck in my head for over a week. My coworkers probably stink I'm nuts.

Bailey helping me make the cookies.
I had a feeling this was going to be a messy ordeal. Clothes off!!!
Yum!
I asked him to put his arm up so I could get a picture of the chocolate all over his forearm. He put his Texas Tech "guns up" in the air instead (thanks to my friend and coworker Josh for showing this to Bailey).
Sweet chocolately face! Bailey was a big mess. Chocolate was everywhere, on him, on the floor and chairs and WAY up his nose.

Tennis Player

I was flipping through the channels and stopped on the US Open. Here's Bailey practicing this new found sport during the commercials.
