Bailey is 3... and it snowed on his birthday!

We usually get just a little snow and a lot of ice. We didn't get much snow, but it was enough for Bailey to learn how to make a snowman. We made a three tier snowman, turned around to look for some eyes and turned back around to find that it tumbled to the ground. Oh well. We had fun anyways.

Christmas

Well, Bailey finally got "train tracks" as he says. He loves his GeoTrax from Grandma and Grandpa Gloe and his new "puter" from Grandma Dawndee and Grandpa Tommy.

Here's Grandpa Gloe's old electric train set.

Bailey left for a little bit and came back with his GeoTrax train. It worked on Grandpa's old track!

More important than the gifts (although very much appreciated), we enjoyed our time with family and friends over the Christmas holiday while celebrating our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Slumber Party - 2009

Here's pics from the long awaited slumber party! Carrie, Claudia, Kyli and I had a slumber party with our children. I believe this is the first time we've all been together since Travis and I got married 10.5 years ago! It was great to see everyone! Thank you to Claudia for hosting.
Bailey had a great time with everyone, but his favorite person is Reagan.

Reagan decorating cookies. Notice all the sprinkles on her plate!

Cameron, Chloe and Bailey playing the piano.

Thanks again girls for everything! Let's get together again soon!

1st Paid Haircut

Grandpa, Travis and Bailey all got haircuts today. It was the first time that Bailey has had anyone but Daddy cut his hair. Daddy liked this haircut because he didn't have to do any work. I wasn't too impressed with it. It seemed a little long to me. Travis does a much better job!

Dancing Again to Rick Astley

The keyboard is one of Bailey's favorite things at Grandma and Grandpa Gloe's house, althought it is pretty annoying to everyone else around. This time Bailey added the guitar! Bailey adds a crazy twist to a Rick Astley song.

Open Blinds

Bailey usually asks for the blinds to be opened by saying "Open Blinds." Well, today he took matters into his own hands by standing on top of his Elmo toolbench and the windowsill.

Not sure about this...

Bailey tells me he is trying to take his head off. Why? Not sure.... I told him he needed to keep it.

Make-shift Bowling

I made a mistake today of wearing a Junior Achievement Bowlathon t-shirt today. Bailey asked to go bowling ALL DAY LONG. At one point we made our own bowling alley out of blocks. Bailey loved it, but he still begged to go to the bowling alley.

Make-shift Train Tracks

This boy is in dire need of train tracks, although he really doesn't know it. He can just make his own.

Running and Tackling Mommy

Bailey was running circles around the living room and EVERYTIME he came around, he tackled me. Maybe because I had the camera. He got this shirt from Andrew. I think it is hilarious.

Trouble

I'm in REALLY BIG TROUBLE now. Today is January 17, 2010 and this post below is the last one I've posted, and I posted it on December 21, 2009 and the pictures are from November 27, 2009. Yikes! I was overwhelmed before with holiday stuff and work. Work hasn't let up, but now the number of pictures to go through is a big overwhelming. We'll see how far I get.... Bailey's sleeping now, but when we wakes up and sees me on here, I'm sure he'll ask for a "puter game."
Here's what I wrote on December, 21, 2009:
Well, I'm in trouble because I haven't posted in a while. Today is December 21st and I should be doing other things now, but here's a picture from November 27th from when my Mom and Dad were in town. I really love this picture. We rode the minature train and went to the Botanical Gardens, but I'll have to post more later.

I'm behind in everything! I haven't even sent a single Christmas card out yet. I'm not sure if I'll get to it. This time of the year is crazy for a person who deals with company finances. Yuck!!! I have a few ideas for Bailey's birthday party, but I need to call tomorrow to see if it's possible to have a party in a week or a week and half. I can't believe may little baby is going to be three!!! He is doing 60 piece puzzles by himself. I love watching the little gears in his head churn. He is so smart!

Below are the pictures posted on January 17, 2010. My Mom and Dad and Bailey went on a miniature train ride. Bailey loved it. This is his train face.

Then we went to the Botanical Gardens and walked around. Here's Bailey inside a big tree.

Sitting with PaPa.

Bailey making his "OOOOO" face because of the cool water fountain. The water bounces!

Playing in a water fountain with PaPa.

Getting each other wet.....

Dipping fingers.

Bailey was exhausted after Grandma and Grandpa left.
He fell asleep while playing his keyboard!

Zoo

Bailey and I headed to the zoo today. We were going to go on Wednesday, but with all of the kids out of school that day, I figured there wouldn't be a huge crowd today with this cold dreary weather. I was right! We didn't quite have the zoo to ourselves, but there sure wasn't a big crowd.

Bailey's favorite part of the zoo today: the white Bengal tigers!

BIG paw prints on the window.
We actualy went back to the tigers before heading out since Bailey liked them to much. This time some boys next to Bailey would laugh every time the tiger would walk by, so Bailey started a laughing hysterically too!

The other highlight of the day: The TRAIN!!! This is Bailey's face as the train started moving.
