Feeling Much Better!

By the end of Sunday, I deemed Bailey 95% better. Now he's back to the constant runny nose. He loves being outside, so we took a stroll around the yard, exploring new things.

How Does My Basketball Goal Work?

Sick Boy (don't read if you have a weak stomach)

Just in case you are wondering, I haven't posted anything because Bailey is has been sick. It started Monday with a constant runny nose, then progressed.... If it's not coming out of one end, it is coming from the other! Perhaps even both at the same time!

The house was virtually spotless last weekend, but you can't tell now. We've given up on cleaning until we are sure we aren't going to have to clean up more puke.

Bailey spent Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday laying on Daddy all day long. Wednesday was Bailey's worse day. He got up to 102.4 F fever and he had never looked so pitiful. His fever was gone and he started perking up on Thursday, but stil got "sick." Then FOUR times on me on Friday. One time this morning. Late this afternoon he gave me a little smile. I hadn't seen that sweet grin in days!

He is starting to be able to eat a little now. He's on the BRAT diet: bananas, rice, apples and toast (bread for him) along with water and pedalite. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.... for all of us!

Learning about Basketball

We are NOT sports people. We don't watch much TV at all, but since Bailey was still sick we watched a little more TV. I turned on basketball and brought out his basketball goal. He kept looking at the TV, then looking at his goal. Two more days of being sick followed this one.

Tool Belt and Crazy Hair

Bailey got a hair cut last week thanks to Daddy, but the top and front is still a little long (I call it moppy) to cover up his short hairs that are still coming in. It's almost a comb over!

Bed Time?

Tonight I put Bailey in his bed, then got down on the floor to look under his bed for a pacifier. He thought it was the funniest thing, so I got the camera so I could share his cute giggles. Amazingly, he went right to sleep after he finished laughing.

Sand Minus the Box

Daddy was cleaning up from laying more stone when Bailey woke up from his nap. Bailey had never played in sand before, so Daddy gave him a shovel-ful to play with.

Then we decided, what the heck, he's going to need a bath anyways...

What is it? I'm told it's a connector entry point for the motor housing. I thought it was pretty.

Travis is converting his vertical mill into CNC. He is designing it himself and has to make lots of custom parts, which he drew up in 3D. After all his CNC is finished, custom parts will be a breeze!

Official Walker

Today we officially deem Bailey a little walker. He did several laps around the house then grabbed Daddy's empty cup and walked around some more. He will still crawl a little, but usually only to something that he can use to help him stand up. Then he takes off running!

Half of the Wall is Finished!

This is a big milestone for Travis. The wall is complete to the stairs!

Bailey's Busy Day

Bailey had a busy day. First Austin came over to play. Here is Austin pushing Bailey around on the tractor.

Then we headed to First Monday Trade Days. That wore the boys out.

Then home to eat and attempt to take a nap. Here's a video of Bailey feeding himself. He is messy now but is on his way to doing it all by himself.

Later we went on a walk, then headed to the park. Austin loves to swing! Bailey loves the rocks!
