Yard Project

Because of a lot of hard work on Travis's part and the help of a lot of great people (Gary, Roger, Darrell, Tony & James), we've had significant progress on the front yard. The footing for the retaining wall was poured a couple weeks ago and more stone was laid. The footing for the stairs was poured today!

Sweet Boy

Bailey and the Gecko

Bailey already has a great eye for spying little critters. He found this gecko in our kitchen! Travis caught it and brought it over to Bailey so he could check him out. This picture was taken a split second before he tapped the little guy on the back.

Travis and I thought Bailey killed the gecko! I wouldn't look at the gecko or this picture because I didn't want to see Bailey's first kill, but I have good news! The gecko was just temporarily knocked out. He was fine, so he was escorted out of our house when he got his senses back.

Trip to Lowes

Bailey helped Daddy pick out some wood to form the steps in the front yard.

Trouble!

He can fit between the couch on and end table on the other side of the couch. Not on this side!

Bailey - stuck!

I love that crooked little smile!
All knick-knacks and shelves are gone!

Clapping & 9.5 Month Photoshoot

I'll have to get a video of it, but Bailey started clapping for the first time today.
He also had his belated 9 month photoshoot today. He wouldn't sit still - he kept crawling toward the photographer- he wanted the camera! Then, when he was sitting still, he wouldn't smile. Oh well, we got a few good shots.

This is one of my favorites (except they cut off the top of his head). What a sweet face!

This is another of my favorites.

Crawling & Pulling Up

Trouble

This boy is starting to get into all kinds of trouble: climbing on tables, digging in recycle bins, chasing Stinky and going any where he wants to go in the house. Since he has become mobile, he is exploring everything. We only thought we had our hands full before. That was nothing!

Out with the Girls!

Bailey went on a night out with the girls tonight! I thought he would be ok when they fired up the Hibachi grill, but the poor little guy started crying! It wasn't a bad cry, but I still felt bad for him. Later on when two other grills were started, he seemed to be intrigued and wasn't afraid at all. I guess the flames at our table were too close for comfort!

Bailey with all of his food on his face. Some days he eats and others he doesn't. From the looks of him, he is very well nourished.

Big Smile for Mommy

Crawling to Reagan

Bailey loves this picture of Reagan. Notice Stinky peeking his head around the door, then disappearing as if to say "This is NOT good."

Avery's Birthday Party

I didn't get many shots of the birthday celebration, but I did some in the bounce house and of Andrew and Bailey together.

Photo by Payton? Look at Bailey concentrating on the kids bouncing! He wants to join in the fun!

Taking Stinky's Place

This is Stinky's window. He is usually laying in the sun right by the couch or on the window sill. Bailey is taking it over!He wants to climb too!

Little Crawler

Bailey is now crawling and getting into EVERYTHING!

9 Month Appointment

Bailey is 19 lbs 12 oz and 29" long. He is in the 50th percentile for head circumference and weight and 75th percentile for length.

Sorry!

Yes, it has been a long time. Between training for the Marine Mudrun, making cakes, having company over and riding bikes with my guys, I haven't had much time to add pictures.

I just wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you. I know there are some people (Mom) who check multiple times a day to see if anything has been added (and just to see Bailey's sweet face).

Here's the main cake I worked on for those interested. It didn't turn out how I wanted, but oh well. It all comes out the same (as Travis reminds me).
