Fun Day Until...

I ended up scraping up my leg and arm (saved the boy) while rollerblading. To make matters worse, after we got home Bailey ran his face into the side of the door and I misplaced my keys. They were missing for a whole week!

Besides our late-evening issues, we had a great weekend!

Travis has been working on several projects simultaneously: scope rings/accessories for a spotting scope, switch boxes for his truck and tractor parts (not shown here).
Here are the scope parts.

Ice Cream and Jenga

Bailey enjoyed a chocolate ice cream cone today. Unfortunately, this picture was taken right after his wiped his face off. His whole upper lip was brown. Yes, Bailey dressed himself today. He says this is his "bone shirt."
Bailey spent a lot of time this weekend playing Jenga with Grandma and Grandpa Gloe. He is pretty good!

Flowers for Mommy

Bailey went with Grandma Dawndee to the store a few days ago. As they were passing the flowers, Bailey asked her if he could get some flowers for his mommy. Here is what my shaggy little boy brought home. He is so sweet!

Snow

We got several inches of snow this morning. We all had a great time in the snow. Here's B going down a hill and face planting in the snow.

Ice

We woke up to ice and blowing snow. It was terribly cold, especially when facing north, so we didn't stay outside very long.

We ventured out this evening to pick up our coop produce. We were on our way to a sports store to pick up some gloves when we found this truck. What good is a two wheel drive dually pulling a 5,000 lb generator in the ice (estimated at 16,000 lbs total)? Not much. Travis was excited that he got to use his winch to pull the guy up in the parking lot.

Bailey slept through the whole thing.
