We headed to the Fort Worth Stock Show today, which included admission to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. We first headed to the swine barn and B got to pet a pig!
Bailey got to see some baby chickens coming out of eggs.
He really liked the baby chickens and baby ducks.
We saw a commercial dairy milking demonstration. I was a little grossed out by what the cows eat. Aren't cows supposed to eat grass? The man talked about how organic milk is "ultra-pasteurized", so that is why is lasts so long. When I mentioned that not all organic milk is pasteurized, the guy almost fell off his chair. "Um, I'm not allowed to talk about that."
This rooster really liked Bailey.
We saw some sheep, cows and tractors, then headed over to the museum. It was totally opposite from our last experience at the museum (free Museum Day when it was absolutely packed). Sometimes Bailey was the only child around!
He loves the grocery store area.
Here we are waiting for the 4-D theater experience. It was mostly a propaganda video (big bang theory, etc.), but all that aside, it was pretty neat. We had a dinosaur spit on us and we had dragonflies flying into our legs.
Then B headed to the Dinosaur Dig area.
Back to the train area where he was the ONLY child around.
Blurry, but neat regardless.
We headed to the carnival area where we got to ride in bumper cars and Bailey go to ride a train.
We had a fun day!
