Goodbye Bailey

In these pictures, Bailey is about to head to Amarillo. He was gone for 9 days! It was really hard for me, especially the first night when Travis and I sat down to eat and Bailey wasn't sitting in his chair.

Bailey had a blast in Amarillo. He says that he missed us while is was there. We sure missed him!

Last Swim Class

Today was Bailey's last swim class. He got to play games and jump off the diving board today. In this video you can see that he is trying to swim under water from one instructor to the other.

Overall Bailey did pretty well in his swim class. He really liked to go under water, so for a few classes he would just bob up and down in the water during the whole class and didn't do anything his teacher asked him to do. We explained to him that there was more to learn than just going under water. He didn't want to get out of the water either. One time his teacher was trying to get him out of the pool. He got to the edge of the pool and stuck his face in the 3" of water that is in the drainage area around the pool. Yuck!

Tripod, Stamp and Pronunciation

Bailey started out the day trying to pronounce his name. He's still having problems with his Ls and he is refusing to put the S on Hughes.

This tripod was Bailey favorite toy today. He carried it around wherever he went.

Later that day, Bailey got a hold of my "Paid" stamp.

Today we got a telescope that came with a rickety tripod. Most of these shots are taken with my camera on the tripod.

Juice in Wine Glass

We came back from Michigan and Missouri with several bottles of wine. While Travis and I enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner, Bailey got to have some juice in a wine glass.

A not so elegant handle on the glass, but he did OK. The glass is still in one piece!

First Swim Class

Jenga and Weeds

Bailey loves to play games. Today we played Jenga, as well as several other games.

This (at the front of the photo) is what we came home home Michigan to. The weeds were under control when we left. When we came it looked like I hadn't pulled a single weed. Ugggg.
