Our Independence Day weekend wasn't very eventful. If it's not yard project, then something else pops up. This time it was a new transmission. Travis spent all weekend putting a purple transmission in his truck (I'm sure Natalee wants one now too!).
Austin and Bailey played outside Saturday morning and decided to rest in the bike chariot. I gave them ice water and now I think they really like ice in their water.
I planted over 100 more vinca on the same side I planted previously. They were originally supposed to go on the south side of the stairs, but because of weeds on the south side, pulling sprouting weeds on the north side amidst the vinca and hand watering everyday, I'd like to get the first side a bit established before making more work for myself.
Later Bailey and I headed to a TEA Party. He did really good at first, but then he just wanted to run around like a crazy guy. There was a decent showing at the TEA Party. I was with the the
Educators of Liberty who were handing out magazines, Fiat Empire DVDs and invitations to a movie showing the next week. People were coming up to me asking for a packet of stuff. A good sign!
Bailey is leaning forward here, about to slam himself back into the seat to move the chariot back a few inches.
Yum! Ice Water!
This is how Travis got the transmission up high enough to get the transmission jack underneath it. The truck was too low (amazingly, since it is huge) for Travis to put the transmission on the jack and roll it underneath.
They don't call him MacGyver for nothing!
